No More Gas Pressure Problems This Ramazan — Here’s What the Government Has Planned for You

The federal government has officially rolled out its Ramazan gas supply schedule for 2026, and this time, they’re promising things will actually work. If you’ve suffered through low-pressure mornings during Sehri or scrambled to cook Iftar on a barely-lit stove, this announcement is for you. Here’s everything you need to know.

⏰ Gas Will Be Available Daily — From 3 AM to 10:30 PM

Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has confirmed that gas supply will run continuously from 3:00 AM to 10:30 PM every single day throughout Ramazan. That window is specifically designed to cover both Sehri and Iftar without any breaks in between.
The minister added that all technical and operational groundwork was laid well in advance this year — a shift from the last-minute scrambles that have caused problems in the past.

📊 Better Than Last Winter? Officials Say Yes

The government is claiming that this Ramazan’s gas availability will be noticeably better than what people experienced last winter. The petroleum ministry says it has worked on smarter demand forecasting, better pressure management, and more coordinated supply planning across the country.
Extra gas arrangements have also been secured to handle the spike in household consumption during fasting hours. The idea is to get ahead of problems before they happen — not scramble to fix them after people start complaining.

🖥️ Special War Rooms Set Up to Monitor Gas Flow 24/7

Here’s something new: dedicated situation rooms have been set up at the head offices of both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC).
These control rooms will stay active throughout Ramazan, keeping a live eye on gas flow, pressure levels, and incoming complaints. Regional and zonal offices have also been told to ramp up field monitoring — especially during the critical Sehri and Iftar windows when demand hits its peak.
Technical teams will be on standby around the clock to jump on any faults, leaks, or pressure drops the moment they’re detected

📞 Got a Complaint? Call 1199 — and Someone Will Actually Follow Up

The government has activated a dedicated complaint helpline at 1199 for any gas-related issues during Ramazan. But what makes this different from the usual complaint black holes is that the Managing Directors of both gas companies will personally oversee the complaint monitoring process.
On top of that, a robo-call verification system will follow up with consumers after their complaint is marked as resolved. If you’re still not satisfied, you can press the “unsatisfied” button — and your complaint gets automatically escalated for urgent action.
That’s actually a step up from the usual “complaint registered, good luck” routine.

THE BOTTOM LINE

The Ramazan gas supply schedule 2026 looks more thought-out than what we’ve seen in previous years — extended hours, real-time monitoring, and an actual feedback loop for consumers. Whether the execution matches the announcement remains to be seen, but at least the framework is in place.
If you face any issues during Sehri or Iftar, don’t stay quiet — dial 1199 and make sure your complaint gets logged.
