Islamabad: Great news for millions of deserving women across Pakistan! The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced a Rs1,000 increase in quarterly payments — and the timing couldn’t be better, coming just ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
Quarterly Payment Gets a Boost
With this latest increase, the quarterly stipend for eligible women has gone up from Rs13,500 to Rs14,500 — a welcome relief for low-income households already feeling the pressure of rising prices.

More Good News: Education & Nutrition Stipends Also Increased
But that’s not all. BISP has also raised stipends under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (education scholarships) and the Benazir Nashonuma Programme (nutrition programme) by Rs500 each, giving families even more support when they need it most.
Live E-Kachehri Held at BISP Headquarters
Meanwhile, a live E-Kachehri session was held at BISP Headquarters in Islamabad, chaired by Senator Rubina Khalid. The event gave beneficiaries a direct platform to raise their concerns and get answers in real time.
